Established in 2013, Baumgart Clark Architects provides architecture and consulting services to our broad client base across Australia and the United Kingdom. Our team of professionals is comprised of registered architects, graduates of architecture & graduates of design.

The practice is led by Managing Director John A. Clark and Design Director Marcus Baumgart. Kirsten McEwan and Hiệp Nguyễn are our Associates.

The practice has studios in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, an affiliate office in Brisbane and an office in Oxford, United Kingdom. The Canberra/Sydney office lead is Natalie Widera, and the Oxford, UK office lead is Lucy Thomas.

We focus on socially and community-driven projects, working across sectors such as education; aged care; community, public, affordable and social housing; crisis accommodation and Youth Foyers; public, community and government buildings; and religious buildings. Our clients include numerous not-for-profits, as well as private and commercial organisations. The common thread through all our work is a commitment to shaping spaces that serve people – individuals, communities, and society as a whole.

We provide full-service architectural and interior design consulting, from concept development and strategic masterplanning through to construction completion.
